We live in San Jose, in Northern California and a friend who had lived in the Beverly Hills area kept raving about El Nopal. Well, we thought we had some pretty good mexican food in San Jose until this past weekend. It was amazing! I keep wishing it was 1 hour away instead of 6 - then I would have eaten their Carnitas Tacos a few more times!! We tried (we ordered a bunch and shared all of the items) El Nopal (the classic - yum yum) Chicken Taco Carnitas Taco Quesadilla (now you think a quesadilla is just a quesadilla until you eat one here!) So try this delicious spot - and eat some for me!
