i have been to a couple other japanese steakhouses before trying kobe. the service was good in my opinion and for the amount of food you get the price was fair. the only disappointment i had was the chef. in other place i have been the chef has put on a great show of his skills. not this guy. he was very good but it would have been nice if my friend who had never been to that type of restaurant could have seen the types of skills i have seen. overall it was good but i wouldn't go back.
