This restaurant `rests on it's (old) laurels`. As long as their long time customers are treated well, they don't welcome new customers.... and seem to do everything possible to discourage patronage by people they don't recognize (like never bothering to come and take your order if they don't think you `fit in`...ie: you are dressed up nicely). Our unhappy experiences there (three times) shouldn't have surprised us considering it is located in a community which has fought updating anything since it was developed right after WWII. Nothing has changed in this place and it has a depressing dark atmosphere as opposed to cozy and romantic probably because of the lack of warmth from the employees. (One busboy was actually friendly and smiled each time we went there).
