Boy was this place a disappointment. It had been recommened to me by a friend, I'll have to ask her when the last time she dined here was, because I get the feeling that whatever was worth visiting this place for, we missed it. It never got more than 25% full, which on a Saturday night is a good indication that all is not well. Ok, onto the food and service. Service was ok, no problem here. Food however... Ordered the Escargot, which arrived in the shell - always a nice touch. However, they were warm, as opposed to hot. My main course of Steak Pomme frites was just.. dull. A piece of tenderloin (which to be fair was ok) layed unadventurously over a small bed of spinich leaves (wilting from the heat of the meat), and then a plate of what looked (and certainly tasted) like frozen french fries on a side plate. Oh, and the dollap of bearnaise looked like it had been sitting out for a while, judging by the nice thick layer of skin it had grown. My dates food was no better, if not worse. Chicken and brocoli, the chicken was overcooked and dry and she echoed the same disappointment as me. Read some reviews after eating there, and couldn't believe I'd eaten at the same place....
