I think you went on a night that you were the only guest. I've been dining at Al & Almas for the past 7 years, and each year it's gotten worse. This year the owners hiked up the prices while limiting your 'side item' choices to either a salad OR potato... and if you choose to have both options you must pay $3 extra dollars... and if you've ever eaten there, you'd know that it was not worth it. The food there isn't anything that you can't get at any chain restaurant, and the service isn't anything that spectacular either... 15 minutes to get a glass of water isn't anything to brag about. I suggest you go back to Al & Almas on a weekend and see how you feel about it then.- Is follow up to post by raewynmn ...

restaurant with good food and service to
a beautiful little restaurant with great
service and dependably good food.
You can't go wrong with the lake right
