A very DISAPPOINTING recent experience! My wife and I have been frequenting Bertolini's in Las Vegas for many years now and have always been impressed with their food, atmosphere and service in the past. However, we were very disappointed with their service during our last visit(06/01/2004). The food was still superb but the hostess was very, very rude to us when we requested a table by the fountain, she practically threw the menus at us when she sat us down. We waited for more than 30 minutes with no sign of our server. We later found out that our server name was Lisa and she was helping two other tables who came after us. Another server who was helping the table next to us saw that we have been waiting for so long, took our drink and food order and gave it to our server Lisa. We did finally get our food and our server never even once apologized for her tardiness in waiting on us. Both my wife and I are very courteous people and we are never rude to anyone, so we did not understand why we were treated so badly. The only thing that came to mind was that Bertonlini might not like Asian customers and we happen to be Asians. So if you are Asians or just look like Asians, you might want to think twice before patronizing this restaurant!
