I miss the atmosphere of the old dining room, getting sat at a table with complete strangers to fill the table, and seeing Chef Paul sitting at his table by the door to the kitchen. I do, however, appreciate the ability to now make reservations for the second floor dining room. The service and food are still outstanding, particularly the stuffed softshell crawfish appetizer, when in season. I've been to New Orleans at least eight times and dining at K-Paul's is still one of the outstanding memories of each trip! Although the summary of K-Paul's indicates they only take cash and American Express, I just paid, this last week with my Discover card. I believe they have taken most major credit cards for at least the last four or five years.
