We were greeted by a maitre d' who said `I'll see if I can seat you...it is the middle of the dinner hour.` We then walked into a half empty restaurant. Steaks were of good quality but were not seasoned. The filet mignon (ordered between rare and medium rare) actually came medium rare and was charred. The porterhouse had a huge vein of gristle on one half while the other was more tender than the filet. The Caesar salad was too garlicky. The smoked salmon appetizer was good. Service was attentive. Prices were on the high side considering the overall quality of the experience. By the way, at 40 years old, we were the youngest diners in the place.
