Del Frisco's came highly recommended. As a newcomer here I anticipated a good experience but it was sub-par. The manager or maitre d' (mistress d'?) dismissed or ignored our respectfully stated complaints e.g.; rushed from salad to entree by servers who seemed surprised by our request for a few more moments; an Old-fashioned sans liquor or very watered down version of the drink. The single item that got any attention was our asking about two items on the tab, but we got a defensiveness when it came to the other two complaints. For my tastes the spinach pales in comparison to Ruth's Chris' version and the meat was grisly in contrast to other excellent steakhouses here. Until or unless I hear of major remedies, I will not be patronizing DelFrisco's again. The positive points were the decor to some extent and the friendliness of a busboy as we were leaving. Sorry.
