We went to Bacchus with a group of six on a Friday night. They were busy but not overcrowded. Salads took a LONG time to come, and four came at once, with two more coming maybe ten or 15 minutes later, not good. Then the entrees took another 45 to 50 minutes. The wait was totally unacceptable. We had a 7;30 reservation and got there maybe 7:40 and didnt have entrees until after 9:30. Then, two of the entrees were not very good, one was OK and the others fine. They took the corkage off for us (we bought several bottles as well so rem,oving the corkage was no big deal and what a lot of places will do when you buy wine anyway). We indicated we were uhappy with the wait and were told that a party fo 16 had taken up their time and there were new people in the kitchen, neither excuse of which mattered to us, really. I would have hoped for something more when we indicated our unhappiness about it all. I guess we will vote with our feet and credit cards next time and avoid the place.
