One night in Venticello and anyone could give rave reviews of such a great restaurant. Comment on the restaurant. In response to your review of Mr. Deeb, when you're someone who constantly attracts the 'dirty old man' type, of course your perceptions are way too shallow to recognize the unreserved generosity that Michael was know for and his pure enjoyment of his encounters with his guests who know him to be a very successful restaurateur, great leader and unmatched mentor to all he knew. The owner Michael Deeb was coming on to me and my girl friends, he was overly nice in a "dirty old man" sort of way. He claimes to be Italian, but is 100% Middle Eastern. YUCK!!!! -- 7/26/2000 7:23:13 PM
