This is a small `mama and papa-san` Japanese restaurant located in a remodled house just outside the downtown area of Salt Lake City, Utah. They have a nice, broad menu of authentic Japanese dishes and a decent sushi bar. They suffer from the same problems that all small restaurants 900 miles from the sea do, namely the fish is only fresh 4 days a week; but it's always been very good. Their Japanese food is also very good. Their katsudonburi is definitely above average, and the other dishes are also good. People are friendly and everything is cooked to order. One of my favorite small restaurants.
