It's worth an hour-and-a-half drive to eat at the Grand Concourse, and we go as often as we can. Great atmosphere -- in the elegant former main lobby of the P&LE train station or along the river on what had been the waiting platform or in the Gandy Dancer Bar. Join Friends of Chuck Muer and earn credits toward gift certificates, and also get reduced rates for your birthday or anniversary. Between 4 and 6 p.m. ask for the early menu; same food at lower prices. Wonderful atmosphere; pleasant, dependable service. Good food. George
