Zuni is one of the most over rated restaurants in SF, and not for the food. The food is always excellent, and it doesnt pretend to be something it is not. The plates have crisp, clear flavors where the ingredients are the focus, not the chef.The problem with Zuni lies in its attitude. The front of the house people are the most obnoxious, pretencious, arrogant *annoyances I have ever met. I was made to feel lucky to be dining at Zuni, not welcome. The man that greeted me actually sneered when I asked if there was a table available. I had never been treated like that. Never going back. A tourist destination that should be down on the wharf.
