The other reviews on this site are completely erroneous! First of all, they are outdated. The Rainbow Cactus is under new ownership and management and has been since late 2000. Here are some positive changes that have occured: It has been remodeled, expanded with seating now for 190 guests, contrary to the other reviews, including that of 3/ 2003, SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED IN OUR RESTAURANT AND BAR AND NOT PERMITTED UNDER CALIFORNIA LAW. Therefore, the comments regarding too much smoke are inaccurate. We have hired new staff, a new Executive Chef and are very much geared toward guest satisfaction. I'm sorry that our current restaurant is being associated with these old, outdated comments. We are no longer Rainbow Cactus Cafe but are Rainbow Cactus Restaurant & Bar.
