Halal, middle east version of a `Bodega` with a steam table of delighfull Indian fare and a sweets display cabinet. This middle eastern grocer located across the street from the County Medical Center is on its third owner and is consistantly a take out treat. The perfumed rice, biryani, chicken tikka, spinach and curd, yogurt curry, spiced sauté vegetables, samosas and nan are all favorites. I regularly order their vegetarian plates to go when my kids demand McDonalds down the block. Great change of pace place with the ambiance of a grocery store.
