My family and I went to this restaurant recently. Service was great and atmosphere was kid-friendly. However, the food was fair at best. I think Durgin Park is relying on its reputation and history instead of keeping the quality of cooking at a high level. Got fish and chips and the fish, 'though fresh and not overcooked, was very greasy and the coleslaw slimy. Fish chowder a nice milk/cream base, but no potatoes and no chuncks of fish, just fish mush. Chicken fingers for the kids were overcooked and very, very greasy. Too greasy to eat.
