Another trip to NYC often including a visit to this fine resturant. This time, wife and I included her mom on Xmas trip, her first real trip in 53 years and it was then that she was last her, lol we ask her what had changed and she mentioned there where not as many pointy buldings! On to the La Cote Basque experience: lovely starter salmon canape preceeded the pre fixe dinner. poor mother-in-law's eye's pop'd out when her rosemary roasted chicken arrived at the table and was presented as if she where to eat the entire bird! Dinner for three w/ wine tax & gratuity = near $400, certainly no bargin but worth it IMHO!
