A very disappointing and mediocre meal. The appetizers (fresh sardines with lemon, mushroom pisto) were dry and overcooked, the accompanying aoili mayo had been sitting out for hours, it seemed. The supposedly famous cioppino was unremarkable, not fresh, and oversalted. A dish of polenta was on the dry side. The cranberry tart was dry, too sour, and inedible. The wines were very good, however. A great puglia, suggested by our charming waitress, and wonderful desert wines were all that redeemed the evening. I guess I would recommend that if you eat here, it helps to drink a lot.
