Make it a day. Eat at Arthur Bryant's for huge portions, great BBQ sauce, and simplicity. Then, go to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum and the Jazz Museum. Everytime I go to AB's, people are lined down the wall, outside, and around the building. I think it is a little more than the reputation. Hands down the best BBQ I've ever eaten.
