This is a great place if you really love a good transsexual circus. I was a regular here at one point, before I started to hear rumblings of bad service and bad drinks. This place once had the best martini in NYC, seriously. Today, along with the stock market, Global 33 has gone downhill. They watered down their drinks, lowered their prices, hired waitresses with tatoos and piercings in their face, and are doing anything they can do to attract the unattractive east village crowd - quite successfully I might add. The DJ only makes things worse, driving out the only normal people in the place after refusing to play bingo and go along with the switch hitting fun. This is one place to miss.
