I've eaten several really good meals at McFoster's. It's a friendly, organic-vegetarian kind of restaurant. The ambience is what I imagine a laid back California granola vibe would be like at some coffee shop in Berkeley. The presentation of the food on the plate is always very good. The service is usually laid back and unpolished, but this is a neighborhood kind of joint, near the medical centers and universities. And I would say that it is the town's best vegetarian restaurant.
