If this is your first time to try French food this isn't the place for you. You have to know to appreciate gourmet food to enjoy a place like Jean George. Sure, food is very expensive but you will be served up to 8 different interesting and innovative 3 bites servings. I enjoyed the place but it was a mistake of me to go there since I am not familiar with this type of cuisine. I spent over a $100 for each person and at the end I thought to myself... I was not mature enough culinarily to try this cooking. It was like feeding a baby with filet mignon in a dom perignon champagne and then ask if the food is fine. As I said you need to be familiar with fine food to be able to evaluate the greatness of this resaurant. By the way, service was spectacular.
