Recently, I dined in The 13 coins Restaurant, on Boren Avenue, Seattle, WA. I tipped the waiter 17%, cash. And I charged my two dinners. When I received my credit card bill, the waiter had taken the liberty to add $10 to the tip field on the credit card statement. I should have filled that field with zero, since I had already tipped. I am very disappointed with that type of behavior. I have been going to that restaurant since 1976. But I shall not be going back and I am recommending to my friends not to go.
