This is one establishment that has not learned the value of change. Not to mention that if you want to keep your customers coming back then it is in your best interest to accomodate them. Don't even ask for any changes to menu items, no matter how small! I asked that the sauce for my omelet be put `on the side`,a simple request, and was absolutely refused. When ordering for my kids, Belgian waffle with whipped cream and strawberries, I and my wife overheard the waitress comment to a co-worker,`Why don't they go to IHOP`! If you are going to make snide comments about your customers (or their kids), you should make sure you are not within earshot of them! You are right, we should have gone to IHOP. It would have saved me extreme irritation, and you wouldn't have been bothered that you did not get a TIP!
