This is authentic Mexican fare, albeit mild enough for the average gringo (you can have it spiced up to your liking). Portions are generous and the price is reasonable. There's always a line at lunchtime, but it usually moves pretty fast. The place looks like a bit of a dive, but the food is excellent and you get to see your food prepared right in front of you. There are a few bar stools downstairs and there are a few cheap tables upstairs. People don't come here for the ambiance - they come for the food. And it's well worth stepping out to Boca Grande for a satisfying, affordable meal.
