I live in Anderson, In., and I have relation who live near Murfreesboro. EVERYTIME I go through Murfreesboro, Pope Taylor's is the first stop.(And usually the last stop on the way home). Really unique food for us Yankee's. Sure not a fancy place, but excellent southern cooking. Have recommended it to friends here in town, and they've stopped on their way to Fla. I have also got it to go, brought it home and froze the BBQ. Great warmed up w/pinto beans and cornbread.
