I have eaten at every Indian food restaurant in the U-District, and this is the one I don't return to. Why? It is too noisy and I always feel like the staff is trying to hustle me out the door. I can't ever have a conversation with someone without being interrupted by a waitress or busboy, and even though the food is decent, it's not worth the hassle to me. I'd much prefer eating at Tandoor or Shalimar, all quite close and similarly priced.
