I dined at Golden Temple on the eve of a snow storm in Boston. The storm was gone and main streets cleared but THANK GOD no one really went out that Friday night and of course it was hard finding somewhere to dine.My boyfriend suggested the Golden Temple. He told me it was expensive. And it was!!!
BUT I loved the atmosphere and the food. We dined in the bar section which is decorated really eclectic with very dim lighting (candles only), beatiful wall fixtures, and the ceiling was shaped like a tunnel which gave it a real cozy feeling. The DJ played classic funk soul, the waiters were friendly and funny, the drinks were fabulous. And I really enjoyed the relaxed mood. There was also a dance floor where some of the bar goers danced the night away. I just had fun watching them look funny.
All in all, I thought the menu selection was very diverse and the servings were large.
I would recommend Golden Temple atleast once. It is a very different feel from PF Changs. Also, I would recommend going for a date and eating in the bar section. There is a big difference between that and the family dining area.
