This is Alexandria's best restaurant. Yes, it is true that it isn't as exquisite as the Inn at Little Washington, nor is it in the same class as Pierre Gagnaire in Paris, both of which I have been to. Menu selections, preparation, presentation, and service are all of a very high order here. Fish dishes seem to be a specialty, but for me the `impossible to resist` dish is the tenderloins of lamb with garlic flan. Simply marvelous. Introduce yourself to Laurent Janowsky, sit at Francois's table, and your evening will be unforgettable.
