My first experience at the Palm Restuarant was less than wonderful. The bar was incredibly smoky, but we managed to wait there until they could finally seat us at 9:00, after having made an 8:30 reservation. We were excited to have found a new steak house, and we even signed up for the special 837 club, until... My boyfriend's Prime Rib came and was incredibly dry. He *never* complains about food at restaurants, but he asked our waitress if there was something that she could do. She offered to have the chef soak it in au jus, but all that did was create a dry steak with more juice on the plate. When we didn't accept that, she told us they were all out of prime rib, and he could order something else. We did, and his dinner was excellent, only I was finished, so he had to eat it alone. Not what we had in mind. They picked up 2 of our glasses of wine, but that wasn't enough to make me feel compensated. I will not be returning to the Palm again. There are many other restaurants that offer better food for that price.
