Asahi has moved to 168 essex street The If you like sushi you must try Asahi, it is the best sushi in the Boston area by far. The sushi is always fresh with generous portions not skinny little rolls or pieces. They have a spicy salmon hand roll not on the menu wrapped in a paper thin piece of cucumber that is to die for, an instant favorite by special request only. The kitchen menu is traditional Japanese not the fast food like in the malls. It is both Japanese owned and operated and it makes all the difference in the world.
