There are two fine Italian Restaurants at the top of my list for Kansas City: Veco's and Garrozo's. Both names used to be together at Fanny's! Service is the art to be there when needed, and for the staff not to be close to you when you don't need them. These two Restaurants know how to accomplish this seemingly simple rule, which most Restaurants don't. Victor Fontana keeps up with time, editing his menu often, but his sauces NEVER come apart! Do not miss this place while in town, and don't miss Jimmy's cocktails.
