My family bought a vacation home in Boca in 1966. Fran's was there, and I cannot think of any other restaurant in town that dates to that year. I have always thought that the chicken had honey in the crust- it is delicious. Fran, a former beauty queen, and her husband Joe, have been serving the best chicken forever. It is surely fun to go in and order your dinner and wait, while you watch them 'work' behind the counter. I ran into Sam Snead a couple of times while at Fran's- he knows that when you are in Boca, forget KFC!!
