Although my frequency to both the Marin and Peninsula restaurants is in frequent I had come to expect far better than I received December 27th. Not only did I feel the rudeness of the host and waiters, but also the food was of poor preparation and flavor. In talking to friends who went early New Years Eve, they too had experienced the same. Both of us arrived on time for reservations at 7:00 PM and had to wait 30 or 45 minutes for our table with little or no hospitality of regard. The host staff was actually quite mean and unpleasant when asked repeatedly when the table would be ready. Upon seating, the food tasted as if it had be reheated in a microwave and was flat. The Steak Frit that in years past was a wonderful pleasure and taste sensation was improperly finished and bland.
