We had the best ribs...my brother-in-law pronounced them the best he had had...EVER. We were frankly, shocked. I did a keyword search for Bronxville restaurants--the sis and her hubby had just moved there 2 days before, and I wanted to come help unpack and then feed them. We were stunned. It is little more than a bar with a dining room, and the food is basic "pub grub", but shockingly good. Sis's side of linguine with the eggplant parm was the biggest stunner--you know how sides of pasta are always gross? This was al dente linguine, with a sturdy red sauce with real body to it. SHOCKING. Eat hearty...the check is the other shocker...three of us ate like trenchermen and the bill with drinks was under $60 for the three of us. In BRONXVILLE. -- 9/1/2001 9:31:01 PM
