My husband and I LOVE Walt's Wharf. Whether in the mood for superb seafood, salads, meat, drinks, or dessert, this is the place to go if you are in the Seal Beach area. We have not had anything on the menu that we haven't loved. Their menu changes daily, according to the catch. They do have a number of staples - can't beat their fried calamari appetizer from the bar; the salmon - grilled or carmelized - is a solid bet; their meats are always tender and flavorful; the creme brulee is rich, cool, and creamy. If you are planning a dinnertime visit, be prepared for a wait of up to an hour - that is a testament to how good it is...most regulars are willing to wait. Partaking of their appetizers and drinks is a great way to spend that wait time.
