Food Atmosphere Service Value 5 4 4 5 Wish I could eat here all the time! Living in the Bay Area, we have our pick of great restaurants. Bayona is at least as good as the best restaurants here, plus it was a really good value! For the same meal at home I would fully expect to pay $80 or more, but it was only $56 each for 3 courses, a drink and 20% tip. It was Friday during Lent and I was worried what I would end up with since I couldn't eat meat. Little did I know that the crouton with goat cheese and wild mushroom ragout appetizer would be to die for! And even though I had no idea what triple tail was, it tied with the French Laundry for the best fish dish I've ever had. We were in New Orleans for two more days and told EVERYONE we met that they should go to this restaurant - even the people sitting on either side of us in Mr. B's the next night. The only problem is that after eating there on Friday, nothing else could come up to that experience. Susan Spicer was there that night and we raved to her - it's nice to see the chef actually coming out to speak to the guests.
