Large, tender steaks, good baked potato, huge salads with homemade dressings- try the creamy garlic. May want to order the 'Boomer', named after the late Walter E. Owen, is a filet and lobster tail. I wish I could enjoy this with Dr. Owen right now. Also, the 'Seward Special', named after Dr. R. Seward is available. I believe that it was free many years ago if you could finish it! They would probably send for a complimentary ambulance for you if you finish it. When eating steak in Peoria, avoid the chains and go to Jim's ( or possibly Alexanders, which is a chain, but started in Peoria many years ago ).
