Our family has been visiting the Big Island every Christmas for over 20 years. During that time we have eaten in all sorts of places, from hole-in-wall `locals` to expensive ocean view resorts. Without a doubt, Teshima's has been the best, most consistent, comfortable restaurant on Hawaii for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's all there, whether Island comfort food, traditional Japanese, or a short stack, and it's really good. You haven't experienced Hawaii until you've experienced Teshima's Restaurant. And to top it all off you can't be taken care of better than by one of the Teshima clan or close family friends.
