I've been going to this restaurant since before I was born (literally!), and still love it. The bran muffins are my absolute favorite anywhere - warm and sticky, and not at all dry. They also make a really good Chinese Chicken Salad (which comes with choice of muffins, choose bran!), french dip sandwich - and just about everything else! And the Manhattan Beach pier is just down the street, making a very nice after-meal walk.
