Was there in 1979. Had dinner and then saw Annie at the Alvin. Dinner and play were exceptional! Dry aged prime meat[as evidenced by their proud to be seen meat locker) cooked over a hickory log and need one say more! Gallagher's is New York in its history,quality and attention to detail! My 83 year old father still talks about the steak he had 23 years ago! First place I'll go on my next visit to NYC! If you think NYC is the center of the universe[asIi do] then give Gallagher's a try. You might just think you went to beef heaven!
