I took my girlfriend to 75 Chestnut for a date on our last night in Boston, and I have never been treated more rudely at ANY restaurant. The place is tucked away in the flat of beacon hill, and offers a nice menu (mainly seafood) in a refined but sterile dining room. The food is very expensive, and it might have been worth going had the owner not repeatedly abused us. At first I thought it was a joke, but the joke was on me, because I'd spent $200 on dinner and the meal we'd been looking forward to turned out to cast an ugly shadow over our entire vacation. I'm still upset about it. I hope this place goes out of business. Don't spend your money here!!
