You don't have to be a vegetarian to fall in love with Millenium. This is California gourmet at its finest: The freshest ingredients, perfectly prepared and exquisitely presented. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the wait staff is among the best: attentive without hovering; friendly and helpful without fawning. People new to gourmet vegetarian cuisine might do well to start with the Millenium Plate...it's a marvelous introduction to a rich, vibrant and imminently satisfying culinary genre. This is some of the best food I have ever had, in any place and of any genre. This is where I take people I especially want to impress or honor, and where I go to treat myself on really special occasions. A visit to San Francisco is not complete without a dinner at Millenium. Highly, highly recommended.
