I go to Taiko every so often with my Grandfather Bud, who has gone there for years. There are many beautiful people of Brentwood (my grandpa and i not included) that go to this place, as well as the hard-core Japaneese crowd and a smattering of out-of-towners. This place can get a little loud; it's quieter in the back of the restaurant. Don't miss the Sweet Eggplant appetizer and the Sunimono is superb! You will be incomplete as a human being until you have tried the Blackened Cod and/or Sea Bass entree. The sushi is very good as well. I love this place. ****1/2 stars!!! (no date with cute waitress yet)
