I'm sad to say, but I've been to Bertrand at Mister A's several times, and have had a poor experience each time. The food has always been superb, no question about it. The views and the atmosphere are wonderful as well. However, the service has been terrible during our visits. The usual crowd seems to be elderly. My girlfriend and I are late 20's / early 30's and very wealthy. We can't help but think our poor service is a result of our age. We dine out at San Diego's finest restaurants 2 or 3 times a week, but haven't been back to Mister A's in over 6 months -- there are too many other great restaurants with great service out there.
