Drunks at 1 in the morning cant be counted on for an accurate review.Sober up and try again....- Is follow up to post by green4growth ...
If you're thinking about chosing Piper's Pub, DON'T. At least not if you have any taste for the Irish charm or friendly atmosphere for which pubs are renowned. Don't get me wrong, the decorations are cozy and the brew selection is satisfactory. Yet my first (and to be my only) experience with Piper's is that we were overcharged by a mathematically-challenged waitress, harassed repeatedly by a night manager who'd been hoping to close shop by 1:30 on a Saturday night, and literally had our last drinks snatched from our hands as the cleaning crew swept under our table - at 1:45! Even the two brews I'd enjoyed didn't give me a cozy feeling at Piper's. Because of the poor service, I left feeling much worse than when I'd come. Perhaps some enjoy such treatment at Irish pubs... I prefer jolly drinking songs, or at least a SMILE. -- 10/9/2001 2:25:51 PM
