O.k, here's the deal. I used to go to Pensacola Fl. every year for a race. I have eaten at the Mesquite Charlies there and this is not quite the same. I have driven a semi tractor trailer to the one in Fl. and have parked a long way from it and as soon as you step out of the truck you can smell the food. I always said it had the best steaks in the country. I was even planning a road trip down there just to eat. Just last weekend I went to Mesquites in Branson. It is not anything like the one in Pensacola. The place was like a corner bar. Now, don't get me wrong, the steak was really good. I had the cowboy and my wife had the jumbo shrimp. We really enjoyed our dinner. But, for the price it could have been better. The main downfall for the place for me was all the traffic you have to put up with just to get there. So, if I ever get the hunger for Mesquite Charlies steaks again I am going to Fl. Just my opinion.
