One of the hidden gems in the city. Fantastic value, with service and food to boot. Dined here after having walked through all of the North End, and was astounded with the menu selection. Eating `downstairs` at the bottom of the stairs didn't phase the experience. Not for a large group, and I would recommend that it not be considered a `family` outing destination. Best suited for couples couples or doubles. The appetizers are incredible, and are just a prelude to the main servings. They handle veal as no other restaurant does, and their pasta dishes leave you wanting more even though you are probably filled beyond capacity.
