For casual dining, especially lunches, Alfalfa is good. The red beans and rice is a good deal as is the Hoppin John. The service can be spotty, but what do you expect from a place that harbours 60's fugitives. The ethnic foods are reasonably authentic. Give the middle eastern items a try...you may get lucky and be there when Osama bin Laden is in the kitchen!
